MBA (Direct)
An Overview:
The MBA program of the school is a broad based program in business management covering a period of one- year of full-time study followed by a three-month internship in an external organization. The MBA students are required to choose an area of major among a list of alternatives. The provision for double major is also available. The Department of Business Administration at IBAIS University has a cherished goal of becoming a strong and resourceful Business Department in Bangladesh. The teaching faculty comprises highly qualified and experienced professors as well as bright young faculty members. Classes start at 6.30 pm in the week days and weekends.

Admission Requirements
Thecandidates must fulfill the following requirements for admission in MBA (Direct Program):
BBA /M.Com/Bachelor's Degree with Post Graduate Diploma in MGT/FIN/MKT/ACT/PMGT.
Degree Requirements
The MBA curriculum for students with a four-year business undergraduate degree/BBA or M.Com./PGD will generally consist of 42 Credits at 500-level courses with a minimum CGPA of 3.0. Students who have poor undergraduate grades or have not taken courses in accounting, statistics and management will be required to take the equivalent. Students may be required to take one or more English courses. They may be required some pre-requisite courses at 500 level.
Curriculum:
A student of this program requires 12 Credits per semester under the coverage of a normal academic work load and 4 semesters will be required for completion of MBA degree assuming that a normal work load is taken. The program with 42 credits will be required to complete the MBA degree is divided into two areas:
1) Core Courses and
2) Elective Courses
Upon acceptance, students will receive a copy of their planned academic program. Students are encouraged to meet periodically with the program director to discuss academic progress, career placement and special needs.
